Here for sale is a rare factory built V8. 90. on behalf of its owner who is a true land rover enthusiast and old friend

We have known this vehicle for around 20 years and have been involved with servicing and maintaining it for its local owners.

Whilst we had a substantial service history for this vehcle we lost it all when we had a computer malfunction a few years ago and unfortunatly the owner also had misplaced his files.

Genuine factory V8 3.5 litre models like this one are quite rare now as a lot were converted over the years to have other types of engines , etc .

We upgraded this one a few years ago to have push button doors with electric windows for one of the previous owners.

More recently we fitted a replacement chassis which we had galvanised and powder coated for long life and nice appearance .This chassis still looks as good as the day we fitted it and this was also waxoyled soon after..

At that time we also changed many of the underside items such as shocks , bushes , etc , I have put on some of the pics from when we fitted the new chassis

The engine goes very well indeed and has retained the original carburettors, air filters ,etc , we did fit a new stainless steel sport exhaust with tubular headers.

The current owner has always fancied making this into a soft top vehcle but never got around to it and he isn't using it very often as he has other vehicles and so is reluctantly selling it .

Generally the body is very straight with only some small amounts of corrosion and the seats are a little bit tatty but we can replace those as required .
